Han Dynasty Earthenware Cocoon Jar Circa.

A rather wonderful large  Chinese Han Dynasty Cocoon jar Cica. 210 BC-220 AD.   An ancient object that is also an excellent decorative piece with great texture and color. The vessel gets its name from its similarity to the cocoon of a silkworm.  Very good overall condirion considering its extraordinary age but a small historic chip at the foot should be noted and is included in the images.
