Scottish Silver Snuff Mull With Citrine and Silver Cap

A fine quality Scottish Silver and rams horn snuff mull  circa. 1850.  The silver cap featuring a wreath of repoussé thistles and set with a large facet cut citrine stone.   A shield form plaque adorns the front of the horn.    The horn itself is magnificently shaped, forming a perfect scroll.  The interior of the silver cap is stamped  ''CEF''

Overall condition is excellent, the repoussé cap being remarkably crisp.
